In May, JETAA Wellington volunteers put on our annual Children’s Day craft event, where we invite the Wellington community to come by, make some mini koi-nobori carp streamers, and learn a bit about Japan in the process.
With a last-minute change in our usual Te Papa venue, we weren’t sure if we’d be able to put it on this year, but thankfully the Central Library offered some space! So a few members went out set up on Saturday afternoon. It was a quiet couple of hours of colouring and origami-folding, but we were glad to be able to continue offering the event! Thanks to those who came out, and hope to see you at the next one!
