JETAA members are invited to join the newly departing 2018 JETs in a small Tanabata celebration at the Japan Information & Culture Centre at the embassy. The festivities will take place following the new JETs’ final language class and involve writing wishes on tanzaku which will be attached to bamboo and decorate the JICC for July.
Join us in bringing a little Japanese spirit into Wellington! JETAA will also be providing some food and soft drinks. Afterwards, alums and new JETs alike who are interested will head to Fork & Brewer for some otsukare–sama drinks to congratulate the new JETs on their hard work preparing for Japan!
Here’s a few pics from last year’s event. Hope to see you there this time around!
