JETAA’s Taiyaki Machine Goes to School

In the first week of August, JETAA Wellington’s taiyaki machine took a little trip out to Upper Hutt College to make an appearance at the school’s open day. A group of Year 13 students and their instructor, Ms. Jo Hawes, learned how to make the traditional Japanese sweets to help introduce┬ávisitors to Japanese culture and promote the school’s Japanese language program.

As Ms. Hawes told us after the event, “It was a hit!”
