About Us

JETAA Wellington is an association for past participants of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. It is sponsored by the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR), under the umbrella of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tokyo. We aim to support and assist JET returnees, promote cultural exchange between Japan and New Zealand, assist with the recruitment and selection of prospective JET candidates and to maintain contact with other chapters of JETAA in New Zealand and worldwide. We also have a whole lot of fun.
